From our many years of experience in HR software selection, we know that every project is different. Nevertheless, a certain procedure has become established for the evaluation of suitable HR software.
The first step is to determine the specific need. This is discussed in joint meetings with the persons responsible for the specific area using specially developed checklists. Based on this, a requirements profile is drawn up, which is then elaborated by our experts into a professional requirements catalog. In order to make the subsequent tendering process as efficient as possible, this requirements catalog is already written in the technical language of the software providers.
The tender participants are determined together. As preliminary work, we submit a proposal list with approx. 10 eligible software solutions, which we have selected from the wide range of HR software. This pre-selection is carried out in the highest degree of transparency and is based on previously defined criteria (costs, functionality, usability, architecture, security).
Consult-HR ensures the proper execution of the tender and is available for queries from the software providers. The results of the tender are prepared in a presentation. We provide further background information on the providers and their HR software, so that we can narrow down the pool of candidates to 2-3 software solutions.
These 2-3 candidates are then invited to presentations at your company. In order to make the solutions comparable during the presentations, it is necessary to create so-called storyboards in which selected business processes are outlined. If you wish, we can support you both in the creation of the storyboards and in the execution and evaluation of the presentations.
After the presentations, concrete offers are obtained from the manufacturers. Here, too, we are happy to support you in analyzing the offers, providing you with valuable information on better conditions and possible price reductions. We are also happy to assist you as project managers during the implementation of the software and accompany you until go-live. We support you in establishing new processes (change management).
